Legal
Terms of service
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (and the business you sign up for) and [legal entity name] (“BizForge”, “we”) for use of theBizForge app and website. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for your business. Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite.
2. Free trial and plans
New accounts start with a free trial. [Trial length, what happens when it ends, plan prices, billing frequency, taxes, refunds and cancellation terms to be added when pricing is final.]
3. Your data
You own the information you put into BizForge. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide and improve the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to collect and use your customers’ information, including consent to contact them.
4. Texts, calls and email to your customers
You are responsible for following the laws that apply to messages you send through BizForge, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, carrier rules and A2P 10DLC registration. Send marketing texts only to people who have agreed to receive them, and honor opt-outs.
5. Connected services
Some features connect to services from other companies that you choose to use, such as Google and QuickBooks. Their terms apply to your use of them, and they may charge you directly. We are not responsible for those services.
6. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, harassing or deceptive messages, and no spam.
- No attempts to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
- No reselling the service without our written permission.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep BizForge available, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or problems outside our control. We may change or improve features; if a change takes away something important, we will tell account owners ahead of time.
8. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. [Describe data export and deletion timing after closing.]
9. Disclaimers and limits of liability
[To be drafted by counsel: the service is provided “as is”; disclaimer of implied warranties; limitation of liability to fees paid in the prior 12 months; exclusion of indirect damages.]
10. Governing law
[State] law governs these terms, and disputes go to the courts of [county, state], unless the law requires otherwise.
